The latest application period for the Licensure Examination for Librarians (LLE) was from June 05, 2025 to August 04, 2025.

Requirement for Filing the Application
To apply for the Licensure Examination for Librarians (LLE), make sure you have the following:
- PSA Birth Certificate
- PSA Marriage Contract (for married female applicants)
- TOR with scanned picture and Remarks “For Board Examination Purposes”
- Valid NBI Clearance (First Timers and Repeaters)
- One (1) Certificate of Good Moral Character from any of the following:
- Barangay
- Church
- School
- Employer
A citizen of the Philippines or a citizen of a foreign country / state with which the Philippines has reciprocity for the practice of librarianship.
- Payment: P900.00

Step 1: Make Sure You’re Ready to Apply
Before diving into the application process, let’s check if you’re qualified:

- ✅ You have a degree in Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS) or equivalent
- ✅ You have all the required documents ready (see Step 2)
- ✅ The LLE application schedule is already open (check the Schedule of Application section above)

Step 2: Prepare These Documents and Requirements
Get your documents ready — you’ll need both digital (for uploading online) and printed copies (for submission at PRC
Required for All Applicants:
- PSA Birth Certificate
- Transcript of Records (TOR) with photo and the remark: “For Board Examination Purposes”
- Valid NBI Clearance (for both first-time takers and repeaters)
- ₱900 application fee (make sure your GCash, Maya, or bank account has enough balance)
Additional:
- PSA Marriage Certificate – for married female applicants only
- Proof of Education – Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS) or a related course
Step 3: Create or Log In to Your PRC LERIS Account
Go to the official PRC online portal:

- Already have one? Just log in

- Once logged in:
- Click “Examination”

- ₱21 for documentary stamp
- ₱30 for metered mailing envelope
