The latest application period for the Food Technologist Licensure Examination (FTLE) was from May 14, 2026, to July 13, 2026.

• FTLE Examination Date: August 12 & 13, 2026

Requirement for Filing the Application

Below are the official requirements you need to prepare for your Food Technologist Board Exam application.

Degree/Course Requirement:

• Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science in Food Technology or its equivalent, such as:
  • BS Food Science and Technology
  • BS Food Engineering
  • BS Food Technology and Entrepreneurship
  • BS Food Science
  • BS Food Science and Nutrition
  • BS Nutrition and Food Technology

For First-Timer:

1. Notarized Application Form

For Foreign Nationals (First-Timer):

2. Copy of national law, international treaty, agreement, or covenant proving reciprocity for the practice of Food Technology between the Philippines and the applicant’s country, as provided under Section 26
3. Birth Certificate
4. Marriage Certificate/Contract, for married female applicants
5. Copy of passport data page or any equivalent document to establish citizenship
6. College Diploma and Transcript of Records with scanned picture
7. Certificate of Good Moral Character issued by any of the following:
   • Employer
   • School, college, or university
   • Any competent authority acceptable to the Board
8. Other documents that may be required by the Board

Notes:

• All official documents issued or executed abroad must be authenticated by the Philippine Embassy, Consulate, or Legation in the state or country where they were issued or executed.
