Schedule of Application

The latest application period for the Nurse Licensure Examination (NLE) was from May 15, 2026 to July 15, 2026.

  • NLE Opening of Application: May 15, 2026
  • NLE Deadline of Application: July 15, 2026

Following with the Important schedule which are the next batch Exam Date and Target release of result:

  • NLE Examination Date: August 29 & 30, 2026
  • NLE Target Release of Result: September 18, 2026

Requirement for Filing the Application

  1. PSA Birth Certificate
  2. PSA Marriage Certificate/Contract (for married female applicants)
  3. TOR with scanned picture and Remarks “For Board Examination Purposes” Notarized Certificate of Undertaking signed by the Dean and Registrar
  4. Subject to payment of examination fees

How to Apply for the Nurse Board Exam

So, you’re finally ready to take the Nurse Licensure Examination (NLE)? That’s awesome! Let’s make your application smooth and hassle-free. Just follow this step-by-step guide:

Step 1: Make Sure You’re Ready to Apply

Before starting, check if you meet all the qualifications:

  • ✅ You’re a Filipino citizen
  • ✅ You have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree
  • ✅ You’ve gathered all the needed documents (see Step 2!)
  • ✅ The PRC application schedule for NLE is open (check the application schedule above!)

Step 2: Prepare These Documents and Requirements

Now, get all your documents ready. You’ll need both scanned copies (for online upload) and printed copies (for PRC submission).

For All Applicants:

  1. PSA Birth Certificate
  2. PSA Marriage Certificate (for married female applicants)
  3. Transcript of Records (TOR) with your photo and the remark: “For Board Examination Purposes”
  4. Valid NBI Clearance (for first-timers and repeaters)
  5. Payment: ₱900 (plus around ₱20 service fee if paying online

📌Tips: After payment, download and print your Application Form from the portal — you’ll need this at the PRC office.

Step 3: Create or Log In to Your PRC LERIS Account

Step 4: Apply for the NLE Online

Once logged in:

  • Click “Examination”

  • Pay the ₱900 fee using GCash, Maya, LandBank, or over-the-court

Step 5: Go to the PRC Office for Final Verification

On your appointment day, bring:

  • Original and photocopies of all required documents
