The latest application period for the Registered Master Electrician Licensure Examination (RMELE) was from June 05, 2026, to August 06, 2026.

Following the important schedule are the exam date and the target release of results:

• RMELE Examination Date: September 07, 2026
• RMELE Target Release of Result: September 10, 2026

Requirement for Filing the Application

First-Timer:

1. Degree/Course Requirement: (Please refer to Section 18 of R.A. No. 7920)
2. PSA Birth Certificate
3. PSA Marriage Certificate/Contract (for married female applicants)
4. TOR [with name of the course, date of graduation and S.O. (B) number], unless exempt therefrom due to accreditation of the course by the CHED, TESDA, DECS or to being a state school/college, or Diploma, in the case of high school graduates.
5. NBI Clearance (valid for at least 6 months on the day of filing of application)
6. Certificate of Employment (with Certificate of Experience) or any equivalent document to prove the required years of apprenticeship:
   • Those who completed 3 years of BSEE or engineering technology course (1 year)
   • Those who completed 2-year vocational electrician’s course (2 years)
   • Those who completed 1-year vocational electrician’s course (3 years)
   • Those who are high school graduates (5 years)
7. Certificate or affidavit on specific record of practice:
   • TESDA (any of the following):
     • NC II Electrical Installation and Maintenance
     • NC II Electrical Power Distribution Line Construction
     • NC III Electrical Installation & Maintenance
     • NC III Electrical Power Distribution Operation and Maintenance
   • AIPO (Accredited Integrated Professional Organization)
     • However, please take note that for the AIPO certifications, two (2) documents are required as follows:
       • b.1. Certification and Affidavit from instructors, trainor’s/supervisor who are registered electrical practitioners and;
       • b.2. Certification from AIPO validating and concurring the legitimacy of the registered electrical practitioners who issued the apprenticeship affidavit (on item b.1.)

Repeater:

1. NBI Clearance (valid for at least 6 months on the day of filing of application)

Step 1: Make Sure You’re Qualified to Apply

• ✅ You have completed at least three years of a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)

Step 2: Prepare These Documents and Requirements

Make sure you gather digital copies (for upload) and printed copies (for submission at the PRC office). Here’s what you need:

For All Applicants:

1. PSA Birth Certificate
2. Transcript of Records (TOR) with scanned photo and the remark: “For Board Examination Purposes”
3. PSA Marriage Certificate (only for married female applicants)
4. Valid NBI Clearance (for first-time takers and repeaters)
5. Application Fee: ₱600 (plus a ₱20 fee if paying online via GCash, Maya, or other platforms)
