Schedule of Application

The latest application period for the Customs Broker Licensure Examination (CBLE) was from August 19, 2026, to October 19, 2026.

  • CBLE Opening of Application: August 19, 2026
  • CBLE Deadline of Application: October 19, 2026

Following the important schedule are the exam date and the target release of results:

  • CBLE Examination Date: November 17 & 18, 2026
  • CBLE Target Release of Result: November 23, 2026

Requirement for Filing the Application

Below are the official requirements from the PRC you need when applying for the Customs Broker Board Exam.

First Timers:

  1. One (1) original and photocopy of Birth Certificate, subject to the provisions of R.A. No. 11909
  2. One (1) original and photocopy of Marriage Certificate (for female applicants unless maiden name is preferred to be used)
  3. One (1) original and photocopy of Transcript of Records with scanned picture and Remarks “For Board Examination Purposes”
  4. One (1) original and photocopy of Certificate of Good Moral Character from any of the following:
    1. Barangay
    2. School
    3. Church
  5. One (1) original and photocopy of the valid NBI Clearance

Repeaters:

  1. One (1) photocopy of Marriage Certificate, if applicable
  2. One (1) original copy of valid NBI Clearance
  3. One (1) original and photocopy of Certificate of Good Moral Character from any of the following:
    • Barangay
    • School
    • Church

Pursuant to Commission Resolution No. 1935 (s. 2024), entitled, “Amending the Revised Guidelines in the Filing and Processing of Applications for Licensure Examination of Repeater Examinees/Applicants”:

A repeater examinee/applicant shall no longer be required to personally file his/her application and submit copies of Transcript of Records and PSA Birth Certificate in PRC Regional Offices, provided, that the repeater/examinee applicant meets all the following conditions:

  1. Examinee/applicant from 2012-present;
  2. Examinee/applicant with the same/exact name (Last Name, First Name, Middle Name) from previous application/s;
  3. Examinee/applicant with the same course and taking the same examination; and
  4. Examinee/applicant with available photo/s from previous application/s.

Special Requirements:

  1. Other requirements that the Board may prescribe (e.g. CHED Certificate of Equivalency for applicants who are graduates of foreign universities/schools)
  2. FOR SPLE APPLICANTS only – One (1) original copy of Certificate of Good Moral Character from any of the following:
    • Philippine Professional Organization
    • Migrant Workers Office
    • Philippine Embassy

How to Apply for the Customs Broker Board Exam

Great! Let’s make your application smooth and hassle-free. Just follow this step-by-step guide:

Step 1: Make Sure You’re Ready to Apply

Before you start your application, check if you meet the following:

  • ✅ You’re a Filipino citizen
  • ✅ You have a Bachelor of Science in Customs Administration (BSCA)
  • ✅ You have all the needed documents (see Step 2)
  • ✅ The PRC application period is open (check the PRC’s official schedule)

If you said YES to all, you’re good to go!

Step 2: Prepare These Documents and Requirements

Gather both digital and printed copies of your documents.

For All Applicants:

  1. PSA Birth Certificate
  2. Transcript of Records (TOR) with a photo and the remark: “For Board Examination Purposes”
  3. PSA Marriage Certificate (for married female applicants)
  4. Valid NBI Clearance (for first-timers and repeaters)
  5. BS Customs Administration diploma or proof of graduation
  6. Application fee: ₱900 (plus service fee if paying online)
